Well we made it to March everyone! Hooray!

Well, looks like that’s it for this week! I just wanna share a really quick story with you all. Today I went with my classmates to a day-mission for the homeless (Hope Faith Mission). We took a tour and then served lunch to the homeless men and women who came. The saddest part was seeing the little kids who came. The lady who showed us around said the average age for the homeless was seven! I couldn’t believe it! I really want to go back and volunteer again. Though these people have next to nothing, they are grateful for everything and being able to help them in any way is an amazing feeling. I encourage you to donate your time or belongings to homeless shelters. It is definitely worth it.

Matthew 25:34-45

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

Friday Fun!- 2/22/12

So, I don’t know about you all, but here (Missouri) we’ve had about 12-inches of snow. That makes three short school weeks in a row for me!! Anyways, I assure you it was spent doing profitable things. 😉 Well with that out of the way, here we go!

•As you all know, I play a variety of instruments, primarily the flute. I recently discovered that I can also beatbox and rap, having never heard for a great length of time either one performed. This shall be my next endeavor, thus combining flute and beatbox.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar to this term, Bible-Quizzing is an international competition where every year one or more books from the New Testament are memorized and teams of up to five quizzers compete three at a time. This year we memorized Acts 🙂

•So today we went to get my little bro’s permit test taken. On the way beck, traffic was insane which was weird since it was the middle of the day. Some dude skid across both lanes and into some vehicle which had already been removed by the time we got there. Turns out, this same guy had just taken his test right before my brother.
